I had spent a year looking for a new horse and had made a couple of expensive mistakes before approaching Lynn at Broadhill Stables and asking for her help. She agreed to take my current horse on sales livery and suggested I try a horse that she had that matched most of my requirements except she was bigger than I had wanted. I took her on a two week trial and never looked back, she was exactly what I had asked for and even though she was bigger we were so well suited it made no difference. I would advise anyone looking for a new horse to not waste time and money buying privately and go to Broadhill and let Lynn find you a horse.

Great Experience – Sales Livery

I could not recommend Lynn and the team at Broadhill Stables more.
Unfortunately when a horse we purchased turned out to be a little too green for me, I was keen to find the mare a new home.
I was aware of Broadbill Stables and their reputation after noticing the number of nice horses they had in whilst I was in the market myself, positive reviews and also I liked the fact they offered two options for sales livery – either a weekly fee, or 20% of the sale price. I opted for the latter option.
Throughout the sales process, Lynn kept us informed of viewings and trial periods (something which Lynn is happy to offer potential buyers to ensure suitability). There were a couple of viewings and one trial period that established the potential buyers were not the right home, but Lynn was determined to find the mare her person. So much so, that after the two-week trial period, the eventual buyer was offered a £500 discount on the sale price to put towards continued lessons and clinics etc with the horse to develop their partnership. After the 14 day warranty period was completed following the trial, Lynn transferred the funds from the sale in full.
All in all, a very professional service with a dealer you can genuinely trust (in my experience they are few and far between!). I would not hesitate to buy horses from Lynn, sell horses again with her in the future.

I found Broadhill stables and Lynn Robertson on Whickr.com when I was looking for a new horse.
She helped me find horses that would suit me and sent me photos and videos of them. She was very quick to answer questions I had, and there were a few. I am now the happy owner of a very sweet pony with just a little bit of cheeky character shining through now and again. I couldn’t be happier!

I saw Lynn’s ad on the Equestrian Noticeboard and I had an instant gut feeling about ‘Charlie’ from the description, photos and videos. I rang Lynn, bombarded her with questions and arranged for Charlie to come over from Cambridgeshire to Oxfordshire on a two-week trial. (I expect Lynn briefed Charlie to keep his nose clean, as this gorgeous grey ex-racer managed just that. He didn’t discover the muddy part of the field until his trial was up!)
Charlie is a total dude. He’s a kind person, very safe, and has taken to what’s been asked of him extremely well. He’s not stroppy in the slightest and enjoys his schooling and hacking. He passed his vetting (including scans) with flying colours, and we’re hoping to get out and about to ROR clinics and competitions next year.
Couldn’t recommend Lynn highly enough. Charlie was ‘as described’, Lynn was a pleasure to deal with, and I’m thrilled with my new horse!

I bought my first horse this summer from Lynn and the communication was very clear and responsive at all times. He is a lovely, fit, healthy and very willing Irish cob and we bought him for myself and my children to enjoy. Lynn made a couple of recommendations from her available horses based on our needs. We had him on a 2 week trial first and while he was more nervous than the advert described for the first few weeks, he has settled in beautifully with us now. 4 months on we are all really enjoying him, all growing in confidence and we’re excited for our future with him.
